The Riftarian Void
The Author: and now it's time to address Riftaria's surroundings and overall existence.
Riftaria is a large double sided island, with gravity pulling people to the surface, no matter where they are, no matter which side they're on. It's like a large flat coin with terrain on either side, ridges and valleys, mountains and canyons. The side that is considered "up" is the side we call Avar, the one first discovered, and the side considered "below" we call Bavi, which was disovered when-

Now, as for the types of Universal Energy surrounding Riftaria, they are listed below
Temporal Energy
visible - changes colour - fuel for any and all time travel devices, can be manipulated to cause temporal distortions.
Temporal Energy is just what the name implies, it's an energy that flows through in and of time, it is time, and it's also the fuel for time. It's used in all manner of time machines and temporal manipulation devices as an inherent requirement. It's very powerful and can change colour, and is what primarily changes during our many months here in Riftaria.
Void Energy
invisible to the naked eye, requiring special Temporal Glass to see - powers magic in all dimensions and realms - generated by Riftaria's gravity and spat out through the many doors to Riftaria
Void Energy is created and dispersed by Riftaria and the many doors within, it matches the movement and humming of the Universe at large, which is why doors to Riftaria can go to so many places, and why beings from every Realm can exist here, because it acts as a grand vibrational equalizer, as the walls between Worlds, Planes of Existence, and Realms are all formed from vibrations and Void Energy. As it vibrates with the hum of the universe, it creates friction with the Temporal Energy in Riftaria, and that causes it to generate heat and light for all those residing here, and it's what makes the colours of Temporal Energy burn brightly
Cosmic Energy
visible only to beings born of magick - special form of Void Energy - explosive in corporeal form
Cosmic Energy is a special form of Void Energy which is generated by Temporal Lightning striking Void Energy, and sending it crashing into other molecules of itself through time, causing Temporal Fusion with similar molecules and multiplying its density approximately 3 times. It's approximately 10 times more potent than Void Energy due to the results of fusion causing an immensely higher energy density.
